A: A Virtual Assistant (VA) is a highly-trained independent entrepreneur who specialises in a variety of business support services via phone, fax, email and the internet. A VA works from home, handling many of the tasks a PA or office assistant takes care of but they have the added appeal to employers of not needing National Insurance, tax, holiday or sickness pay, employment rights or even office space and equipment. Your VA will be self employed and available to work as few or as many hours as required and only charges for the time taken to complete your tasks.
A: It may be possible for your assistant to work from your office if they are based locally and the tasks cannot be carried out from our own office.
A: Yes certainly, that is one of the services we can provide, we have telephone answering specialists who are available during office hours. We will answer using your company name and be able to learn about your business so that we can be of assistance with general enquiries if you wish. Otherwise we will take a message and email them to you or you can call in when you are ready to receive them.
A: That is fine, we have several clients who only require a small amount of work completed each month such as sending invoices out at the end of the month, send a regular mailshot or newsletter or update their website.
A: If all your work can be carried out by one assistant and you prefer it that way then that will be fine. However if your work is such that it requires a specialist then we will find the best person for each of your tasks to ensure you receive the highest quality of work and service.
